Intellectual Property in the Space Sector – Session 2 of 2
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) are co-hosting an event for SMEs currently involved in space activities and to SMEs of high technology sectors interested to do so.
It has been recognized that in general, firms that protect their intellectual property (IP) are more likely to increase their revenues through leveraging of their IP assets, than those that do not. SMEs that patent their invention have a stronger tendency to become high-growth firms and to export.
Please join this virtual event by the CSA and CIPO experts to enhance your knowledge on IP strategy, technology transfer and commercialization in a business environment. And be privy to featured presentations from both the BDC and ISED on the IP Fund and the IP Marketplace respectively.
The session will be presented in two parts – the English will be delivered on Tuesday, November 17 and Tuesday, November 24 at 1PM ET, and French on Wednesday, November 18 and Wednesday, November 25 at 1PM ET. Participants are invited to register for the language of their choice. Kindly note, different information will be presented during each session. Please ensure you register for either both English sessions or both French sessions to experience the full event.
